Luke Cockerton FIPA
Director
Luke joined the firm in 2006, after attending Westcliff High School for Boys and Seevic College. Luke has since gained his Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency qualification and is a Fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association.
Luke provides corporate insolvency advice and his problem-solving skills means that he is able to assist clients with finding solutions to any situation.
Luke areas of expertise are Creditors Voluntary Liquidations, Company Voluntary Arrangements, and dealing with contentious insolvency matters. Luke is the firm’s complaints manager, and along with two local professional firms organises the Southend Young Professionals Networking Event, as well as attending many others around Essex.
Outside of work, Luke has been an avid Arsenal fan for 20 years (for his sins). He enjoys action films, trying new cuisines and new restaurants. Luke also likes city breaks and beach holidays, or anywhere that alcohol is cheap – you won’t find a happier Luke than a Luke in a locals’ pub in Prague drinking Pilsner Urquell for £1 a pint!
