We currently have the following position available:

Professional Support Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for a Professional Support Administrator to join our Insolvency team in Southend on Sea. The successful candidate will be skilled in a range of administrative activities with emphasis on financial routines, and will have a proactive attitude, a keen eye for detail and be number orientated. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the smooth running of the team, by delivering effective and efficient administrative support.

Key responsibilities:

– Case Administration: maintenance of physical and electronic case files, day to day banking, invoicing, completion of VAT and Corporation Tax returns, maintenance of electronic and physical cashbooks, and scheduling company books and records.

– Supporting the insolvency team with general administration duties, including filing, typing dictation, photocopying, and other reasonable duties as requested.

– Client care: act as a first point of contact when covering reception (for approximately 2 hours per days plus as and when required), both answering the telephone and responding to visitors.

– Post duties: prepare outgoing post, and delivering the same to the local post office on a daily basis.

– Provide refreshments for colleagues and visitors.

– Stock control: assist with ensuring stationery is kept stocked, organised and tidy.

Full training will be provided on the Insolvency Vision Blue system. Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook are essential, as well as excellent client service skills, to liaise with our clients in a friendly and professional manner, both over the phone and in person. GCSE (or equivalent) Grades C or above are required in English and Maths, as is the ability to work within a team and on your own using your own initiative.
