Received notice of a creditors meeting?

Unsure of what to do?

In the current economic climate there are more and more companies instructing the services of Insolvency Practitioners to assist with their financial situation. This could be in relation to liquidating a company or proposing a Company Voluntary Arrangement, for example.

The directors of the company will provide details of the company’s creditors to the Insolvency Practitioner who will then proceed to send notice of the respective meetings to those creditors.

As a creditor of a company in this situation, you will receive, along with notice of the meeting, a Proof of Debt form and a Proxy form, and if the meeting is to discuss a Company Voluntary Arrangement, there will also be a Proposal included.

DCA Business Recovery can provide assistance with these forms and if requested we can attend Creditors meeting with you or on your behalf.

Please contact us to discuss your situation and we will provide honest and straight forward advice to help you fully understand the procedure, and the steps that you need to take.
